Tattoo Reduction
Once upon a time tattoos were forever... not anymore. By creating a high energy pulse our laser breaks down tattoo ink into minute particles. These particles are absorbed by the body and pass through the lymphatic system.
As the laser hits the tattoo, a light grey frost will appear on the tattoo, indicating energy was applied. Tattoo laser removal may feel a little uncomfortable.
We’re with you every step of the way, working with you to set to achieve the best possible result.

Tattoo removal/reduction will vary in time frame, you may require 5 - 10 treatments, 4 - 6 weeks apart. The tattoo is broken down into small particles that your liver will excrete over time. Please be aware that tattoos may not be eradicated completely, the older the tattoo and whether it has colour can affect the outcome.
-
It may hurt as much as obtaining the tattoo in the first place. We can recommend an over the counter numbing cream that can be applied prior to your session. The sessions are very quick so the pain is tolerable.

– Warmth or heat sensation is expected and will last for about 1 hour.
– Slight swelling (oedema) and erythema (redness) of the treated area may occur after treatment.
– Cool the skin as needed with cold gel packs, cool gel, or cool air.
– Wash the treatment area gently with soap and water.
– Do not soak the treated areas.
– There may be a slight darkening (bronzing) of the skin noticeable 3-10 days post treatment which resolves without intervention.
– Do not shave the treated area if crusting is evident.
– Avoid sun exposure between treatments and apply SPF 30+ to protect exposed, treated areas.
– Apply moisturiser for sensitive skin as needed
– For patients who are prone to break outs or have sebaceous skin, consider waiting 24 hours before applying any topical products.

Any new client must book a Tattoo Consultation before we start any tattoo reduction treatments, we need to assess the area and chat about what results you can expect. A patch test will be completed to check if you’re a suitable candidate some inks contain chemicals that can react to the reduction treatment.
The best part? The cost of a consultation is redeemable on your first treatment*
